In accordance with the FISI/FIS Anti-Covid regulations in force at the current moment, the following measures will be implemented during the 2022 Gsiesertal Lauf.
MANDATORY MASKS
- Masks FFP2 must be worn in all competition areas
- Masks FFP2 do not have to be worn during the race. 1 minute before starting, competitors may remove face masks and place them in their own packet.
- Masks FFP2 must be worn after the finishing line.
- We are a Green Event and, as such, all masks must be disposed of in the bins provided.
GREEN PASS CHECK (vaccinated / recovered)
- At the entrance to the Race Office (Bib pickup, waxing service, medal collection for each age group)
- After the check the participant receives a “hand-band” for the week-end
TEMPERATURE CHECK
- at the entrance to the starting area
your body temperature will be checked. If a competitor has a body temperature of over 37.5°C, they will not be permitted to take part in the race.

FINISHING AREA
- The transponder in the bib is disposable and must not be handed back to the organisers.
AWARD CEREMONY
The award ceremony will not take place in its customary form this year. For this reason:
- The winners‘ trophies each day will be presented during a “Flower Ceremony” in the finishing area
- The medals for the first three competitors for each age group will be distributed from 1 pm to 3 pm in the race office (Civic Hall)
- The prize money (Premium Sprints and Official Standings) will be awarded at 1,30 pm in the Raiffeisen-Bank.
REFRESHMENT AREAS + LUNCH
- Snacks and drinks in sealed packaging will be provided at the 7 refreshment areas along the route. During the race, we recommend that participants bring their own water bottle.
- In place of the customary lunch in the finishing area, each participant will receive a top-quality packed lunch to take away.
SANITARY FACILITIES
- The 7 WCs will be disinfected continuously.
- Participants may not use the changing rooms and showers this year.
SELF-DECLARATION HEALTH FORM
Participants must submit a Covid self-declaration health form when picking up bibs.
